Lake & Boating Rules

In order to use the Peddleboat ,individuals must obtain a key and a life jacket from the pool monitor.

Only residents may sign out the key after showing proper identification. There are NO exceptions.


  1. Ice skating, swimming or wading in the lakes is prohibited.
  2. Badges must be worn by all boat users.
  3. Children under 18 years of age are permitted in boats ONLY when accompanied by a responsible adult.
  4. No more than TWO (2) persons are permitted in a peddleboat at any time.
  5. Each person is required to wear a life preserver while in a boat. Life preservers are stored in a closet in the pool area and must be returned.
  6. No one may stand in a boat, and horseplay is prohibited. No changing of seats in boats is permitted.
  7. Peddleboats must be returned to the dock and tied up.
  8. Peddleboats should not be beached on any part of the lake shore other than the docks.
  9. Boats must be returned to the dock before dark. During the summer (June through September), there is a two (2) hour rental limit per party.
  10. Rules governing fishing are listed separately and posted at the dock.

IMPORTANT

Recreation staff and security personnel are authorized as monitors of these rules. Please cooperate with their requests or suggestions.
