Golf Course Rules

Course is normally closed for weekly maintenance on mondays, from 8:00 am to noon.
Major holidays are exceptions when the maintenance is moved to Tuesday.


DO YOUR PART TO KEEP THE COURSE IN GOOD SHAPE
  1. Replace divots.
  2. Repair ball marks on greens.
  3. Rake the traps.
  4. When pin is removed, place it off the putting surface.
  5. All tee shots must be made from the mat in the tee area, or it is permissible to use a wooden or plastic tee from the grass area. Never hit the ball from the grass without a tee!

GOLF RULES

Due to Covid-19 our golf rules have been modified to meet the Governor's and CDC requirements.

  1. There is to be no play if the sign at the first tee indicates that the course is closed.
  2. All play shall begin no earlier than 8:00 am.
  3. All play must start at the first tee.
  4. All residents and guests must wear badges and all guests must be accompanied by a resident (if a medical condition prevents the resident from accompanying the guest, the guest must wear the resident's badge and a guest badge.) Guests must be at least 17 years of age. No children allowed on the golf course.
  5. Golf, flat soled or low heeled shoes are required.
  6. "Woods" or metal woods are not to be used and the putter is the only club to be used on the greens.
  7. Players do not tee off until the second tee is clear.
  8. Ball in the "ball rack" determines sequence of play.
  9. A maximum of four (4) players must play together.
  10. When the course is crowded, play is limited to 18 holes.
  11. When there are more than 12 persons waiting to play, no fewer than 3 persons may play together.
  12. No practicing on any part of the course. Play with one ball only.
  13. The course is reserved for tournaments every Thursday until 1:00 pm for ladies and on Fridays until 1:00 pm for men, from May until October.
  14. Golfers should be properly attired at all times. Tank top shirts are prohibited.
  15. Any changes in rules will be posted on the bulletin boards in the gazebo.
  16. Each player must have their own clubs. More than one person playing from a bag is prohibited.
  17. Please respect the tranquil atmosphere of those living adjacent to the course. No loud talking, shouting across fairways or profane language.
  18. No alcoholic beverages permitted.
  19. Pets are not allowed to be walked anywhere on or around the golf course.
